​Medicare pays for 80% of physical therapy visit costs.  Depending on your secondary plan benefits you may be responsible for some, or all, of the remaining 20% cost.  This could be due to the Medicare deductible, your secondary plan has a deductible, or your secondary plan has a copay / coinsurance.  You are responsible financially for this amount once claims are processed.  It is your responsibility to know and understand your plan benefits. 

If you do not have a secondary plan or have an HMO as a secondary, you will be responsible for the remaining 20% each visit.  This can vary depending on treatments performed, but is roughly $20-30 per visit.
